The story of two couples set in two different time periods, but yet going through the exact same problems at the exact same time was intriguing to me. In the beginning I was a little confused about what was going on, but as I continued to read I understood. The author made it to were the modern couple was living through the life of the past couple. As if the spirits of lovers before them lived on in them. I did not want to put the book down for one second, that is just how good it was to me.
