The Outside of a Horse by Ginny Rorby

As someone who has read MANY horse books let me start by saying: omg this was Awesome!!! The story truly captures the essence of being a loving horse owner and the trials that came to light with being a horse owner. The joys and the pains of horsemanship are acted out so (insert another word for "awesomely") that....I'm speechless. Also, the plot is something most teens can relate too. The daughter of an injured soldier coming home from the Iraq War has to help her father heal. I mean Wow!!! Eye opener!!

I don't know what to say except: Read it!!! You will be moved.
