This book covers dark topics through the mind of a simple 16 yr old. The book slowly develops, but not so slow that you feel like you are given too much unnecessary detail or that it is dragged out. The book is a nice quick read, with interesting topics surrounded by the idea of karma and reincarnation. Good overall, definitely appropriate for a more mid teen audience.
